A Nice Bike Ride in New York City
A favorite blogger from "The Blog That Ate Manhattan" just posted pictures from her bicycle day up Manhattan's West Side, at The Blog that Ate Manhattan: NYC West Side Greenway Bike Path. TBTAM really captured the feel of this great New York ride. This is a bike trip my own New York Family Tourist also enjoys several times a year, but we usually drive our four bikes to the Fairway Market at 125th Street and then head south all the way to Battery Park, where we can see our Statue of Liberty. Sometimes we even continue over the Brooklyn Bridge to a delightful ultimate destination, an ice cream cone.

Park at Fairway - what a great idea ! We couldn't figure out where to park (The Century bike tour was the same day and we were worried about the traffic), so we just rode our bikes across town.
To get home, we took 125th street across town (watch out for errand cabs and buses...) and then rode down the East River path.
Thanks for the link love!
Well actually we have our chauffeur park the limousine NEAR Fairway. The store's parking is limited so we find a spot up that hill named "Riverside Drive".
